Partner Organisations
Helping people in need takes a “Community” and here at SVP we are lucky to have teamed up with wonderful charities, businesses and government departments to serve our clients.
The Salvation Army
One of our oldest relationships is with the wonderful team at the Salvation Army in Jersey. They provide many complimentary services and their “Pantry Store” offers people the dignity of choice and buying their own food while making it affordable and accessible. Through their Community Café they provide fee hot soup and a safe space to rest and chat. They also host an amazing Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day which is open to our Clients.
Wholly Ground Café
St Mark’s Church and their Wholly Ground Café and “Baby Basic’s” Service have become one of our most treasured partners. Primarily supporting our parents and babies service, they offer a safe space for parents to have a coffee and a cake while their children play. St Mark’s also hosts the Baby Basics service that has become a valued partner in our aim to relieve some of the pressures families have in affording supplies for their infants.
AMH Diner
The Diner is an essential partner in our outreach to Islanders who might be struggling to use our services due to a number of factors. This service is run by the Health Department and provides free meals, activities and a safe space for individuals referred to them through the health system. We run clinics with them, in association with CARITAS Jersey every fortnight.
